Within 4 years since its opening, the team has already made a big impact on the NYC food community. For instance, they have appeared on Brew & Que on the Food Network, EyeWitness News on ABC and have even been featured on Draft, Thrillist, and Time Out Magazine. The word is out. Arrogant Swine has brought Southern BBQ to NYC.
What brings people to the restaurant are the delicious ribs, but what keeps them coming back time and time again is the environment. The place is fun and funky. The customers and employees play and everyone is tight-knit. They’re only a team of 6, but they consider themselves a family.
Routinely, after a long shift, the Arrogant Swine Team hangs out in the backyard over cold beers. The best feeling about working at the restaurant is that everyone supports each other (and eating barbeque daily is not too shabby either).
The team of 6 is small, but are looking to hire 3 more team-members ahead of the busiest season!
